Shilicho – BIO – Ethiopia

Shilicho is a signature terroir coffee from southern Ethiopia, grown in the mountainous region of Sidama. Cultivated organically by a cooperative of dedicated smallholder farmers, this washed lot highlights the finesse and aromatic freshness typical of Ethiopian coffees.

The heirloom Arabica varieties used here reveal an elegant, floral, and delicate profile. In the cup, expect a light and silky texture, bright acidity, and a long, lingering finish reminiscent of black tea. Dominant notes include bergamot, white flowers, and black tea, resulting in a subtle, refined cup full of vibrancy.

Perfect as a filter coffee for its complex aromatic expression, it also surprises pleasantly as an espresso with its citrusy freshness and lightness.
